Settlements and Landscape is a theory-and-practice course that examines the relationship between human settlements and their environment, addressing their historical evolution, socio-environmental impacts, and cultural perceptions. The course encourages a critical understanding of landscape and of anthropocentric approaches to the environment. Through case studies, sketching, and cartographic exercises, students develop tools to observe, analyse, and represent the built and natural environment.
